Pastor Ron’s first and arguably most important book - to him and his sons, at the least - only had two copies. It was a little brown leather bound volume called "Father Knows Best", and consisted of anecdotes and advice to his sons regarding their lives - past, present, and future. "Father Knows Best" became "Just In Case I Can't Be There", which is currently out of print. But very recently, "Just In Case I Can't Be There" was freshened into this new work, "After Words." It includes all the same insights, warnings, and instructions for those times when mom and dad can't be there, but also includes several releveant chapters from other works of Ron Mehl, packaging them in a smaller handy size. The book also features a pouch which can be used to hold a personal note to a son, daughter, or friend who might be receiving the book as a gift. It has been described as a "tender-hearted book that will toughen their [the reader's] convictions about our Lord."
